Background

Saint Aggrey High School was established in January 2004 and is registered by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. The Registration Number is S. 1588. The school started with ordinary level classes and in year 2006 started enrolling Advanced Level Students in Arts Combinations. Saint Aggrey High School is run under auspicy of the Board of Trustees of "The Institute of Education Development Promotion (IEDP) a Non Governmental Organisation dealing with advancement and promotion of education development in Tanzania.

Services Offerred

Saint Aggrey High School is a co-education based school which enrolls both girls and boys. Our school offers education from Nursery to Advanced Level disciplines as narrated below:

Nursery School

Our School offers Nursery School Education under the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training School Curricullum in English. The School has transport for Nursery and Primary School Pupils to and from the school at affordable charges.

English Medium School

We have an English Medium Primary School which offers students enormous opportunity to gain qualitative education provided by our dedicated staff. Currently the school has the capacity of admitting 135 students per year. We offer transport to and from the school for Nursery and Primary School pupils at an affordable charge for the pupils whose parents opt for this kind of transport for their children.

Secondary School Education (O'Level)

Saint Aggrey High School offers training for secondary education based on the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training Syllabus. The school has important facilities and dedicated staff to train students to excel in their academic endeavours and hence in their entire lives.

Advanced Secondary Education (A'Level)

Our High School currently enrolls students for A'Level Students in Arts Subjects combinations. We also serve as a centre for Private Candidate Students who wish to sit for National Examinations administered by The National Examination Council (NECTA). We also conduct Remedial Classroom training for those who aspire for credits before joining Advanced Secondary Education (A'Level) studies. The school has the capacity of enrolling more than 2000 Students. The current enrollment of students 1200 of which 620 are boys and 580 are girls.

Boarding Facilities

Saint Aggrey High School enrolls both boarding and day students. The school has four Hostels which with the capacity of accommodating 400 boarding Students. Every room accommodates four students only - a situation which maximise security and encourage friendship. Every room is furnished with two double-deck beds which ensure comfortable academic environment.

Transport

The School has motor vehicles which are meant for both school events and academic tours outside the school.
